Golden Section - A Profile

Golden Section was initiated in early 1985. The concept of industrial design was new in the Indian context then. At that time, the industry was thriving on age old designs and methods, depending on the ignorance of the users, thereby monopolizing the markets. Competition and the newly emerging designers influenced the vast improvement of the products. The mantra was mainly aesthetics ,user friendliness and ergonomics, and ease of manufacturing, producing and maintenance. Products began to look more pleasing and more functional. The response of the industry was positive. The users became aware and more demanding. Golden Section feels proud to have played a part in bringing forth this design movement in the industry.
